The Morris’s are a family group based out of Kentucky and are known for their country-tinged songs that speak to the heart and spirit. The popular group gained some national exposure when the Solid Gospel Network picked up the touching "It’s Not Goodbye" - a song that spoke of the homecoming of loved ones that had a slight old-school Crabb Family feeling to the song.

The Morris’s are following up that hit single and album with a brand new, self-titled release. Van & Kathryn have a knack for writing songs that are a play on words and phrases from pop culture. Songs like "Extreme Makeover", That This Is Not My Home Look (The Orphan Song)", "High Price To Pay For Low Livin’", and "Whale University" are all clever songs that definitely give the Morris’s a different approach to their ministry.

However, the group flourishes more on the songs that are serious in nature..."Let The Healing Begin", "When Your Eyes Are Opened", and the touching "When I Think Of What You’re Doing There" are some of the stronger cuts on the album.

Musically, the Morris’s sound fits somewhere in the same vein as The Freeman’s or old-school Jeff & Sheri Easter with their catchy country based melodies and vocals. Fans of that particular style will definitely find a lot to love with The Morris’s.
